My Son lives there Forge. I do not. He has been asking me for recommendations and advice. I have counciled him on looking in to the local laws and consulting his FFL. Your own post on a ban on the AR's in Boulder, but your comments that a Judge overturned that, is clear that the subject is in contention.
I am trying to make sure my Son does not get in trouble based on what i have heard. Take a deep breath Brother.

I don't remember any 'mass" shootings under the Trump era but seems like under the likes of Obummer and Obiden they are popping up every where. ANNND the nations that would like to see the US fall are instigating trouble everywhere.

I thought it odd that even though the guy said he killed them to rid himself of the sexual temptation the media insisted it was Asian pacific islander hate crime and yet they are very selective of which crimes are labeled by race or ethnicity

There is a remote possibility that Geppetto thinks that elimination of firearms will result in a significant reduction in firearm deaths.
The problem with this generous assumption, however, is that he is directing his puppet to say things that effect less than 1% of the deaths we have seen. In 2019, roughly 2% of murders involved a rifle as compared to almost 46% involving handguns.
Why then, would Geppetto have his puppet target a weapon that is used at approximately the same rate as a shotgun in his announcement, when just 18 months ago his puppet specifically praised a double barreled shotgun?
The logical answer, of course, is that handguns and shotguns are less effective tools in the resistance of tyranny. If one wants to minimize death, one targets the largest contributor to death. If one wants to impose tyranny, one targets the most effective tools that would resist tyranny.
It is a true shame that people are killed by firearms used by evil people. It would be a much greater shame if we let Geppetto remove our best means of last resort resistance.
