Shooter opens fire in a Colorado grocery store.
Yikes. Seems these things happen when the POTUS is a dem.
Shooter opens fire inside King Soopers in Boulder
A shooter opened fire inside a King Soopers grocery store in Boulder on Monday afternoon, but there were few details hours after the first reports came in.

My first thought anytime something like this when joe is in office is "Is this what they will use as the excuse to go total confiscation??"

and establishment partisan media wastes no time blaming availability of AK and AR type firearms.

Maybe they should dwell on who taught him to do it.

Is the beginning of the end or just the end of the beginning for future Gun control and the second amendment with our bill of rights?

10 dead including a LEO . wounded ?
prayers to all the families and 1st responders .
of course the media will eat this up and the dems will stand on the departed body's to scream it .. a AR-15 looking rife was used per witnesses .
here again one nut who should have been in a mental ward ( jut my guess ) but its the rifles fault the other 100 million gun owners have to pay
we do need them mental hospitals and better treatment will never be again , way too much money to keep and operate and countless law suits for not treating the patients right ( no I do not want them at home but you better take care of them battle cry from the families . but then again
however we not by my vote ) can bring in tens of thousands of illegals and take care of them no problem .

King Soopers grocery market is owned by Kroger and Kroger made their stores I believe into gun free zones which of coarse makes them a target rich environment for nut jobs.

I have already seen headlines " two mass shooting in a week' politician's and anti-gunners will be screaming from the roof top's
remember there motto never let a disaster / tragedy go to waste , when it can further your cause get out your soap box ( there favorite the body's of the dead or injured ) and stand on it them and shout your message

Get ready for an assault weapons ban and magazine size restrictions.

Yep

It's impossible that the weapon used in this tragedy was an AR. AR's are explicitly illegal in Boulder.

Yep and all that comes with it. It's not going to be a ban it will be confiscation or a series of severe requirements through multiple government agencies that your are sane and in compliance with all storage, transportation and safe use of them.

I really don't see how the Gov can confiscate firearms. I can regulations and restrictions.
I just wish when the sick-o's decide to go on a killing spree they would start with themself and do the whole world a favor.
I can imagine the fear and panic that ensued inside the grocery store. The Policeman who went in and was killed was doing what good cops should do and they are vilified for doing their job. The cops who get all the news are the bad ones like the idiot who shot through a door or the thug who kneeled on a guys neck for 10 min until he died from whatever.

My Son and his Girlfriend live in Lakewood/Golden CO. He is in the process of aquiring his 1st handgun and they are seeking CCW's. My Son's Girlfriends Dad is a long time SWAT Member in Miami so she grew up shooting. We (Her Dad and I, are both glad they are arming up.) He has been encouraging both, (as have I,) to do so.
I know my Son is a good shot, I would suspect his Girlfriend is as well.
They have a Riot pump (Win. 1300 Defender) gifted from me. They are now shopping for a rifle. My Son wants an M1 Carbine, (discovering how much they cost now.) I am recommending a Win 94 or a Marlin 336.
I am pleased to see that they are arming up. 👍

A Remington 742 or760 in 30-06 is another good "friendly looking" weapon that comes at a reasonable expense.

Kind of of surprised you didn't recommend a lever gun chambered in 357

Will include that in my Sons suggested choices Sam.
Savage170 - that had not even occured to me, (but) since he now in in the process of receiving the 357mag revolver, that is an excellent suggestion.
My rifle suggestions to him were prior to him settling on the .357mag revolver, which happened pretty fast.

Really?
Yes, it's true! A few years ago the city of Boulder legislated that AR-type rifles are illegal to own within city limits of Boulder.

Flipping channels before going to work (in a super market) and saw Joyless Behar calling for Democraps to start banning weapons of war like AR 15 style weapons................
I'm sure the Harris admin is gearing up now.

Appreciate the suggestion Savage170. Shot my Son a text. I am a huge fan of rifle/handgun combos.
Thank you.
I suggested Rossi and Henry, any others to consider? Not looking at higher end collectible stuff, just an Everyman's Utility Rifle.

Now that the Henry comes with a side gate I would add that in the mix. As the Marlin 94 are getting outrageous in price

Sorry to Hijack the thread. My apologies.
Opened another one for .357mag rifle suggestions.

I thought that was the case. My Son is shopping for a rifle, he was wanting an M1 Carbine. (Not realizing what they sell for now.) I told him that I thought the M1 Carbine was on the CO Banned list. Told him previously that if i pass, he can not have my AR's in CO.

The Democrats can't blame white supremacy but the AR-15 might stick yet!

- The gunman from Monday's shooting has been named as 21-year-old Ahmad Alissa of Arvada, Colorado
- He opened fire in the parking lot of King Soopers grocery at 3pm, killing two people before entering the store
- Once inside, he shot and killed another eight people before being arrested by Boulder Police Department
- In Facebook posts over the last 18 months, he complained that he didn't have a girlfriend and hated Trump
- Alissa's brother also told The Daily Beast he was 'very anti-social' and has been 'paranoid' since high school
3 -
How is this skunk still alive? With bodies on the ground seems like the cops would have gone in shooting. Looks like he got nicked on a leg so he was VERY lucky.
3 -
This is why I rarely leave the house without a weapon. I want the choice after assessing the situation...scatter out the back or engage the punk and (try to) put a stop to the rampage.

- “In Facebook posts over the last 18 months, he complained that he didn't have a girlfriend and hated Trump “
So, it’s a hate crime?

Ahmad Alissa...
Sounds like another one of those Icelandic separatists.
(Thanks, Dads 30-40, if you're lookin' in!)
9 -
Go figure he is from Syria and most likely a muslim, who is described as mentally ill and hated Trump.
So that would make him a lefty.
Not what the media wants so this will disappear soon.
3 -
Yes, Steve/Neo - another White Christian Gun Owning Conservative (Neo Nazi) Supremacist. Clearly a Hate Crime.
What type of Firearm did he use? An Evil Black Rifle? Clearly more dangerous than others. I have several "Normal" looking firearms that are at least as dangerous, if not more so in that situation.
Idiots. (Insert Agenda.)
Roll Eyes. 👀
