Welcome new moderators Mike Wiskey, jimdeere, and Ruger4me
GBHQ cut their orders late last night, so this is their official introduction.
@MIKE WISKEY is one of the most senior members of our forum. In fact, I've said that GB must have built the forum around him. Congrats, Mike
@jimdeere hardly needs an introduction. He is one of the most popular members of our forum...or he was prior to his becoming a moderator! Congrats, Jim.
@Ruger4me has six years in the forums. He is our most junior moderator, but he brings a lot of enthusiasm to the job. Congrats, Ruger (I know your real name, but I haven't seen you use it in the forum).
Gentlemen, here are your GB New Moderator ban hammers:
These 3 new moderators, along with @Brookwood, who was appointed last month, are a major part of @montanajoe and my plan to have a smaller and more dynamic moderating staff composed of members who were active in the forums and remain so as moderators.
This is the current moderator list:
For those who insist that @montanajoe and I are determined to make everyone a moderator, these 8 mods are roughly half the number of moderators in the old forum.
The old forum is officially in the past. Now, lets give a warm welcome to Mike, Jim, and Ruger.

Is there a bribe hierarchy or is it alphabetical? Also, I will need a list of cost per type and level of infraction for said bribes. Does longevity on forum lessen the size of the infraction cost?
π
Congratulations fellers. GB chose well.
goat owners need not apply, they tend to eat the hammer.............

My understanding is the cost positively correlates with longevity.

Congratulations gentlemen! I find it amazing, uncanny really, that Mark and Joe continue to select only those members for whom I have the highest regard and deepest respect. When the mod ranks are finally filled, I'm considering having a modest giveaway. It would ,of course, be something not too gratuitous. Perhaps a fishing trip to Belize or a moose hunt in The Yukon. Naturally, it would be only open to moderators and administrators. No riffraff need apply.

Susie, I'm fairly certain you could get a substantial discount by simply pointing out the glaring lack of diversity in these most recent appointments! π It's possible the DOJ "watchers" have already noticed and will be contacting you directly.

Keep this up and there will be more mods than us minions. π

You really enjoy drawing attention to yourself.
Let's be clear: I promised you a moderator position in 2270. I never said a word about your remaining a member of the forum during the entire 248 years.
