A hypothetical
Let's say you had to choose between a M1911 Colt and a Smith & Wesson revolver of the same period (say a Model 1905). If value of the gun is not a consideration, which one do you want to carry for self defense?

I don't own either of the choices so hypothetically I'd probably have some sort of a Ruger... but then again is it night or daylight? Then again the 1911 would have more rounds, dam I wasn't expecting a quiz.. maybe I'll just go eat dinner and hope for the best... Was this just for fun? is there a correct answer? So many questions and answers... Did I have a beer or two, before this "gun fight"? Maybe I was just out with my shotgun... inquiring minds want to know...

Ok but hypothetically I had on my armor and although it hurt some I survived the initial onslaught and then blew the bad guy away with whatever gun was nearest to me, there are several to choose from..😁

Wellll...... Since they are still making Colt 1911's and it has outlived all of the S&W models of that early 20th century era, I figure there must be a reason. So I'll go with the 1911. Bob
