Prayers For Mom -
Woke up to a text and phone msg this AM. My Brother and his Wife were at my Mom's house visiting this past week. (from NM) Last night my Mom (94) reached for something and fell, breaking her hip (again.) Surgery this AM.
The last time this happened, a couple years ago, it was a major ordeal and took a 6mo stay in a Re-Hab facility, (after the Surgery) that we could not visit, due to Covid. My Mom was in much better physical condition, but that one started a major decline for her.
This will not be good.

My grandma had the same kind of problem near the end. Had never been in a hospital for anything until she started falling. First a shoulder and then her hip. Infection finally took her from us.
Sorry to hear about your mother, hoping for the best outcome for all involved.

Prayers offered from our house. Haven't been spending any time here for a long while and so sorry to hear this news. Went through this with my Mom a couple years ago. Once the falls start, it can be a real snowball effect. Be there for her. Every moment is more precious now.

You doing all you can just saying close showing your love
Even when we know it does not ease the pain just a comfort knowing they will be pain free an reunited with loved ones.
We went thru similar with my mom and my MIL she was like a second mom to me truly best MIL any one could hope for
It's been years but I still miss both of them along with dad and my FIL
