Prayers For Mom -
Woke up to a text and phone msg this AM. My Brother and his Wife were at my Mom's house visiting this past week. (from NM) Last night my Mom (94) reached for something and fell, breaking her hip (again.) Surgery this AM.
The last time this happened, a couple years ago, it was a major ordeal and took a 6mo stay in a Re-Hab facility, (after the Surgery) that we could not visit, due to Covid. My Mom was in much better physical condition, but that one started a major decline for her.
This will not be good.

Just got an update. Surgery went very well. (Another Rod and a pin. Left side this time, Right side last time.) The Surgeon said he was very pleased. Mom is a tough old bird.

My wife's mother (also 94) came down with Covid last week, she's on the mend but drained.

My Brother was with her yesterday and overnight. My Sister will be with her today and tomorrow, I will be with her Tues/Wed. After that, she goes to a re-hab facility near Raleigh, so my Sister can be near by.
Considering her age, she has done better than expected.
*My Son, goes in for Surgery in the not too distant future for a badly ruptured L2 Vertebrae.

She is resting peacefully and not in any pain.

Back @ the Hospital for another all day shift. My Sister coming in this evening. My apologies for all the excessive posting to threads over the last couple days and probably today. Just me sitting here with my Tablet all day on GB. (Bored out of my mind.) Keeping the TV off, so she can sleep/rest, as much as possible.
Mom seems way more alert and aware today. She was out of it yesterday.
