GunBroker.com provides FFL dealers with access to a nationwide online marketplace and tools designed to help dealers sell inventory, connect with buyers, and manage firearm transfers.
Dealers can list firearms, accessories, and other eligible inventory for sale. When an item sells, the buyer and seller work directly together to complete payment and delivery through GunBroker's Checkout and Order systems. For firearms and other regulated items requiring an FFL transfer, GunBroker's integration with Master FFL helps coordinate the transfer process.

FFL Dealer Network and Master FFL
GunBroker.com has partnered with Master FFL to provide an integrated FFL Transfer Network designed to simplify firearm transfers for buyers, sellers, and receiving dealers.
FFL holders can participate in the network by claiming and managing their dealer profile through Master FFL. Maintaining an accurate profile allows dealers to specify their transfer preferences and helps buyers determine whether a dealer is available and appropriately licensed to receive their firearm transfer. To be recognized as an FFL on GunBroker, your license must be registered in both the Master FFL system and your GunBroker account. To add your FFL to your GunBroker account, registration is completed by entering your FFL number in your account profile. FFL licenses are no longer uploaded directly to GunBroker, but simply registered.
It is important to have your license number registered on your GunBroker account to be identified as an FFL in our system. This will allow you to have the FFL badge shown on your listings. It also determines the proper FFL Transfer Processing Fee being charged on items sold. (See FFL Transfer Processing Fee)
Connect with GunBroker Buyers
Participating in the FFL Dealer Network can connect your business with GunBroker buyers in your area who need a licensed dealer to complete a firearm transfer.
Dealers establish their own transfer policies and may charge their own fees for providing transfer services. Receiving transfers can also introduce new customers to your business and provide opportunities to offer additional products and services.
Through your Master FFL profile, you can manage important transfer preferences, including whether you:
- Accept firearm transfers
- Accept transfers from non-FFL sellers
- Process applicable NFA/SOT-regulated items
These preferences help buyers select an appropriate receiving dealer during GunBroker checkout.
How Master FFL Simplifies Transfers
For items requiring an FFL transfer, Master FFL helps coordinate the transfer between the seller and receiving dealer.
As part of the process, Master FFL may:
- Contact the receiving dealer to confirm that the transfer will be accepted
- Obtain the receiving dealer's FFL
- Confirm when the license has been received
- Update the GunBroker order status after the FFL is received
- Help ensure an appropriately licensed dealer is selected for applicable NFA/SOT items
Sellers can monitor the transfer from their Sold Orders and access the receiving dealer's FFL after it has been obtained.
Buyers can monitor the transfer status from their Won Orders. The receiving dealer's actual FFL document is not provided to the buyer.
If a buyer selects a dealer that has not provided its transfer preferences, Master FFL will contact the dealer to confirm whether the transfer will be accepted. If the dealer declines the transfer or does not respond within two business days, the buyer will be asked to select another dealer.
Claim and Manage Your FFL Profile
FFL holders are encouraged to claim their dealer profile through Master FFL and keep their business information and transfer preferences current.
Keeping this information up to date helps buyers select an appropriate dealer during checkout and can reduce delays associated with confirming transfer acceptance.
