Ways to Buy Items on GunBroker.com
There are several ways to purchase items on GunBroker.com. The options available depend on the listing format and the purchasing options selected by the seller.
Fixed Price
A Fixed Price listing allows you to purchase an item immediately at the price established by the seller. There is no bidding—the item is offered at a set price.
Take a Shot
Take a Shot allows buyers to submit an offer on eligible Fixed Price listings.
If the seller has enabled Take a Shot, you can submit an offer for the seller to review. The seller can then choose whether to accept the offer.
For more information, see Using Take a Shot.
Auction
In an Auction, buyers compete by placing bids on an item.
When placing a bid, you enter the maximum amount you are willing to pay. AutoBid automatically bids on your behalf, using only as much of your maximum bid as necessary to keep you in the lead.
You can monitor the auction as bidding progresses. When the listing ends, the highest bidder wins the item and is responsible for completing the purchase.

BuyNow!
BuyNow! allows you to purchase an item immediately at the price established by the seller.
BuyNow! may also be offered on an Auction listing. When available, you will see the BuyNow! option on the listing.
If BuyNow! is used on an Auction listing, the auction ends and the item is purchased at the BuyNow! price.
For more information, see Buy Now with BuyNow!.
