Item Misrepresented and no responds from Zendesk
I bought an M1 Carbine the end of February this year and upon inspection I discovered that it was imported last fall but the seller never disclosed that importand detail. (Regarding Item #1144885681, BPP claim ticket 2787882; I have not heard anything from you since June 8, 2026.) That was a automated responce that they had recieved the email chain from the imprter. I filed a BPP but the Zendesk has pretty much ghosted me. No one from GunBroker will answer any of my emails. The claim is still listed as active and open, but i can't get any movement. The rifle is just sitting in the corner untouched as it came out the the shipping box. I still have the box and packings as well. All my research indicates that repatriated M1 Carbines are valued at 10-30% less than ones that stayed in possession of the U.S. As a military arms colecter I generally won't bid on anything imported usless it is a stupid good deal. This was not. I did everything right on my claim. Conmtated the seller, the importer, submitted a claim with the credit card co., sent all pics on Gunbroker and my own to the BPP together with all emails, and filled out the form. Gave the Dealer an F review. Have heard nothing from the Zendesk on my claim. I find it hard to believe that it would take this long.
Anyone have any thoughts?
Thanks

Did you ask the seller if it was a repatriated before purchase ? What was their return policy?

I think you paid for the gun seller shipped you a gun. Now it isn't worth what you paid? I get that a lot.

I asked the seller about markings on parts such as the bolt handle and trigger group as the discription was vague and there were only 13 pics. One pic was of the top of the barrel near the muzzle showing the barrel date and manufacturer. On the underside directly below that was the import stamp but no picture. I didn't ask directly. However, my experiance has been that sellers generally disclose if there are any import marks on a collecter firearm. I have 5 handguns and maybe 12 military rifles from various periods in history where this rule has applied. It's especially critiacal with M1s as many Granads and half of all carbines were sold or loaned to other countries. (aprox. 3 million)
Their return policy was 72 hours. I didn't discover this issue until about 2 weeks after receiving it from the FFL dealer as I was about to take it apart to give it a thorough cleaning per SOP on used guns. I contacted the dealer at that point and his attitude was, "yeah, so what? I knew that. Sucks to be you."
Thanks

The return policy was 72 hours. That is why there is a return policy. I think you bought it.
