I received a notice saying it was a typo error and the sale was cancelled. I figured it was and had no intention of holding him to the sale agreement. I could not have done that. So far he hasn't relisted it though.

You're a honorable guy. He should have honored his mistake if a bid had been made. You could ask if he will be relisting. Good Luck!
