Bidding
As I’ve bid on things over the years sometimes it appears that the dealer has someone with no history, bump the price up. Is this possible, or just my imagination.

It is possible, shill bidding can happen at any auction, but pretty unlikely over several auctions and sellers.. We all started with no bid history. Most here, well, most that used to be here, have thought that at one time or another, but it never seemed to last.
