Windham Weaponry Status in ME ( China purchased ? )
Former Bushmaster Factory in Windham ME, turned Windham Weaponry few years back. Great back story as residents pooled their resources and began making America's Rifle in the former Bushmaster Factory after they moved out of Maine. I own one of their rifles. Great rifle. Around May 2025, Google displayed Chinese hieroglyphics for almost every line of link data for that company. I even took images of it. Crazy. I called about parts and maybe rifle purchase, no one answered, system would not accept calls during normal business hours, ALL Day. A few hours after my call a man called me, said he was from WW. He had a thick mideast / Chinese accent and wanted to take my order ? Said he was handling all the retail sales and now they are out of Sacco Maine. I emailed the company using old email addresses from 2024, and what was on their website….Again, man called me back. It was so concerning I contacted local PD there since there was no other means of contact with the company. They were unaware of much of anything about the company, period. September 2025, even more lines of link data turned Chinese….I checked their website today, and it's now all back to English…..Anyone happen know WTF is going on up there ? Here is one email response that I received…..

I just checked their Google reviews going back to time I noticed all this irregularities with their website. Seems 4 reviews were left stating paying for items never shipped. Wondering if their website was hacked for several months ? Thanks in advance to anyone familiar with what is going on with them….Dave.

Guess I also got mine when the getting was good. It is now about 20% after market, and I have never needed OEM parts. Guess I never will.
