  We got the first day of deer season off!  Those who missed school the following Monday, we knew were unsuccessful!  Fast Eddie, Class of 1962 South Williamsport, Pa.

  I remember when I was in Jr. High school, 1975, one of my teachers and a best buddy of mine who was a student traded shotguns out in the parking lot after school.  That would never happen today.

  Every time I see Red Dawn they wouldn't had a chance at my High School during deer season almost every pick up had a couple rifles and quite few were kept in lockers mostly Winchester and Marlin 30-30's

  Lenny had a 300 Savage and Jake had a Remington .35.  They were outcasts!!!

  I had a bolt action Stevens 30-30 and was damn proud of it too, it got the job done several times while many friends weren't so lucky. LOL
