Ruger #1 with a Leopold scope and a beautiful fiddle back stock. $600.00 at our local gun shop. Two more and I'll have enough for a baseball team. I'll call them The Wolverton Mountain Springfields.

That is a great deal. I would be all over that in a second. Nice rifle. I have one in a 270 Weatherby mag and I love it.

Wolf, I have a TCR 87 with 5 barrels including 7 Mag. and 45-70 that I enjoy shooting. Mike, a 50-140!! Wow! I reckon my largest is a Martini 45-90 with a Soule tang sight that woops my shoulder pretty good. BTW, I live waaay up in the north east corner of Ca. Eddie life member VFW & NRA.

almost forgot my #1 in .460 express (.404 Jeffery necked up to .45 w/ sharp shoulder). yup, it's a ‘thumper’ too.

I had a Ruger No. 1 in .25-06 that I called AT&T because you could reach out and touch someone with it.
I bought it new in about 1983 for $350.00 If I remember correctly.
