Total newbie question on selling a "blank" ar lower and jig
I've asked around a little and have had a variety of different answers so I figure this would be the best place to get some good info at last.
I purchased 2 ar15 lowers from 80% Arms and their Easy Jig (V1) while living in Texas back in 2015 or 2016. I have since moved a few times, to different states and am now residing in Illinois for a few months. I initially bought the lowers and jig to learn and build my own. Well time marched on and in cleaning out my storage unit I came across them and since I have no real desire to deal with them I figured I would sell them to someone who does have the time and desire to complete them. Im looking for information on value of course but also in how do I do this legally within the scope of current legislation and laws. can attach photos if it would help in answering my question.
Thank you in advance!

I'm sorry most of the experts have left the forum, and I refuse to answer questions because the AI bot will put my answer on “pending” When I submit a “ticket” to get an answer why my answer is pending I get a standard non-sensical response…….contact the seller and see if any arrangements can be made. It's quicksand- humiliation to be checked by a machine after I've spent time and resources searching for answers to questions. I'm sorry I cannot help you.

Since you are living in Illinois it is illegal for you to have it in your possession. But you people in any state other than the ones which have restrictions listed below you would be able to sell or give them too.
States with Restrictions or Bans on 80% Lowers:
- California: Requires serialization and background checks for 80% lowers, and bans certain types of firearms made from them.
- Colorado: Bans the manufacture, possession, or sale of 80% lowers and unfinished frames beginning January 1, 2024.
- Connecticut: Requires 80% lowers to be serialized and registered.
- Delaware: Bans the sale, manufacture, or possession of 80% lowers.
- Hawaii: Bans the sale, manufacture, or possession of 80% lowers.
- Illinois: Bans the sale, manufacture, or possession of 80% lowers.
- Maryland: Bans the sale, manufacture, or possession of 80% lowers.
- Massachusetts: Bans the sale, manufacture, or possession of 80% lowers.
- Nevada: Requires serialization of 80% lowers and bans possession of unserialized firearms.
- New Jersey: Bans the sale, manufacture, or possession of 80% lowers.
- New York: Requires serialization of 80% lowers and bans the manufacture, possession, or sale of unserialized firearms.
- Oregon: Bans the sale, manufacture, or possession of 80% lowers.
- Rhode Island: Bans the sale, manufacture, or possession of 80% lowers.
