Number 7 Percussion Caps??????

I have been told  that there have been or still are #7 percussion caps made.  Is this a story or is it true? I am thinking the info I received from the gent telling this was mixed up saying #7 instead of #11. Could this be right or was there a number #7 cap around and if so what did it fit?
