Block a seller?

I do not understand why anyone would limit their sales by not selling to EVERY possible bidder…..it makes NO SENSE whatsoever.   As a consignment seller I cannot imagine a person letting me take in their collection and me telling them I'm going to prevent some bidders from participating.     Saying you don't sell to California is a huge mistake.

I've even had buyers contact me to have a gun sent here from another seller…..logged it in….then sent it to their dealer in California.

There is no way block a seller….but you can save me and if you run into some nonsense I'll be happy to help!

Thank you.  I do have you on my favorite seller list.  And my kids have your address when ever the need to liquidate my shooters.

You can block any username from bidding or contacting you regarding items which you have listed.  However, you cannot block just a seller to eliminate having to view their listings.  Most of us sellers contain wording in the description that we do not sell to California and/or GB allows us to list a number of states that we don't sell to which can be found in the listing under “Seller Exclusions” just below the Item Number within the listing.  Illinois is another state which is getting negative attention from potential firearms sellers.  Personally, after selling to California for many years, I stopped entirely due to the fairly recently passed state law which places potential liability upon both manufacturers and firearm sellers.  As a small business owner, I cannot afford the type of liability insurance which would cover me if I were to sell a firearm to a California resident who used it in self-defense, but a California liberal DA decided to prosecute that resident for criminal behavior.  An attempted burglar who was shot and live, or their family could easily sue me as the seller of that firearm under that California law.  And that is not my personal explanation but rather that from several lawyers familiar with that law.
