Remington Model 1900
I have a very old shotgun that appears to be a Remington 1900. It was old when I got it and I;ve has it over 40 years. I can't remember when or if I ever shot it and realize I should have a gunsmith check it out before I try it again. The interesting thing is that neither the grip or fore-stock is checked and don't appear to ever have been. Does this mean it is a very early issue or just an economy issue. The barrels don't appear to be Damascus. Do you think I may have a unique piece that might have some extra value? I'd kinda like to know just what I am bequeathing my nephew. Thanx, in advance, DOC

The Blue book states the Model 1900 in Remington or Damascus barrels is “a lower priced gun to meet market competition, quality a cut below the Model 1894, but mechanically the same.” Produced with or without ejectors. Good luck.
