I am embarrassed.
I won a small auction on the 13th. I just noticed it tonight and immediately whipped off a check and an E-mail with an apology to the seller with an explanation why I am so late. Two doctor appointments in Reno, 110 miles one way twice last week and wife had knee surgery. She is doing fine, thankfully daughter is nursing her and doing other household chores. I reckon we raised ‘em right ’cause we ain't got much of an inheritance to leave!!! Hmmmm, it could be my ‘ol nickel model 57 that she always wants to take shootin’ when she visits.

I contacted the seller and he was very gracious and understanding of my situation. G. B. sellers are good people. At nearly 100 purchases I have not had a sour deal.

I've learned how important having children close by is in the past year too. Only once encountered a bad seller on this site, but i probably should have known better.
