TRUSTS
I normally don't wear my heart on my sleeve BUT-My wife passed in Dec. She was a teacher. Many of her accounts were not in our trust. What a mess . . . . Get your STUFF in a trust my friends.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I don't know what I would do without my besty. We made a list long ago and have kept it updated of where our important papers and goodies are hidden. Combination to the gun safe was a priority. And that space just above the heater has some nice “heaters” in it. Look under the china cabinet for a few more goodies. And they have Locust Forks number!!!!! Again, our condolences. E&J

I've lost 2 wives. Fiirst with just a will. Settling was easy but all accounts were joint and still took a year. Second was in a trust, sold real estate, transferred some ownership, etc, very easy and fast.
Was some what expensive to set up ($5K) but the result was well worth it. Now married again, and I set up a trust immediately. Rick

Sorry for your loss.
My wife died almost 4 years ago but I didn't have any problems because everything we had was in both of our names.
