SHIPPING UNLOADED BULLETS OR BRASS
The last time I sold unloaded brass on Gunbroker the only shipping method Gunbroker allowed me to use was UPS or Fedex. It cost a small fortune. I could have used a USPS flat rate option much cheaper but Gunbroker did not allow that option using their shipping protocol. Is that still the case? It appears that an unlicensed seller (no ffl) can legally ship unloaded bullets or brass via USPS. I am getting ready to list some bullets and want to know if I will be stuck using UPS or Fedex to ship these bullets. Any info or experience with Gunbroker procedures is welcome.

You can ship whatever legal routes are available to you…the GB system only allows certain things, but that is not what you are limited to using. Unloaded brass can both can go USPS without any hassle at all. You may not be able to create your shipping label using the GB system, but you CAN ship whatever way you choose.

Locust Fork is correct.
It's been a long time since I've sold brass on the action side but always used the flat rate USPS boxes for shipping when I did.

L.F. is a good source of information. I have received many orders of brass and bullets using the P.O. flat rate system. To prove it, look up reloading components and many of the sellers will flat rate shipping. Or they will combine shipping if it fits in the flat rate box.

I send them USPS and mark the box as Machine parts. Even though it is legal, I do this so the stuff doesn't get stolen. The lady at the post office told me to ship it marked like that.
