First fish!
Drove The Enterprise, she takes me places no man has ever gone before, to McCoy Resv. today. Lotsa snow on the bank and still some ice in some areas. Sooo, I took my truck pole ( it telescoped down to 18 inches and lives in the truck) On the third cast I got a nice 2 pounder on a 1/8th ounce gold Phoebe. Unbelieveable!! Lets try that again, just dumb luck! LST, long story short, In ½ hour I had two more beautiful red meated twins of the first one. And, I lost two others, the last one taking my lucky lure, I did not have another lure of any kind with me so I was done for the day. Now I have a mini truck tackle box AND more importantly a landing net. Yes I sent pictures to The Colonel Nah, nah, Nah na, na na!!! She should be here Monday, pole in hand.

It was unexpected Drifter. But being retired and getting older Julie and I take every opportunity to enjoy life. She will have knee surgery on Thursday and be down for awhile. We are both very fortunate to be healthy and active at our age. Life is good my friend.
