I enjoyed the forum and most of the participants for many years. This is now a shell of what it was. Just a shame. Would someone just shoot it and put it out of its misery? Dying a slow death is hard to watch!

Little Buck. What a great, and sad story from The Forum. Dennis took in the little guy, his mom was killed on the road by a car. The little fawn was standing in Dennis' yard covered up with fire ants. Dennis brushed off the ants and took him in for a pet.
He stayed in the house like a pet dog. When November rolled around the little deer had grown a set of horns. Dennis turned him loose where he could run around the Texas plains, and he would come inside at night and sleep on his bed in the house. One day, Little Buck got into a fight with a big deer, and was gored. Dennis took him to the vet but it was no use. Little Buck died.
