Supposed to be 65 and sunny ,was 74 yesterday. Eastern nc . Meanwhile my best friend in Maine sent me pics of him building snowmen in his yard. Chime in !

Yep, same here. We had a bright sunny day on Tuesday 3/25 with a high of about 73°-74° The three days before that brought us a storm that dumped 6-7 inches of rain on us.

Only thing being dumped on us is pine tree pollen . Everything is coated with a bright fluorescent yellow green powder . Wash it off and 30 minutes later you can't tell you did anything . Wish it would rain.

Here in Volcano Country (Mt. Shasta and Mt. Lassen are 110 & 70 miles away) the apricot trees looked like cotton balls the other day and I woke up to snow this morning. So much for Julie's home made jam this year….

My power stayed on. That is most amazing. 60% of our electric coop is without power. Northern Michigan is a total disaster.

Mackinac Bridge is closed no gas deliveries means we are running out. Ice falling off cables and towers caused bridge closure. We need spring forecast is for 2inches snow tomorrow. We are a tough group but patience was never my strong point.
