How do you resize a photo to under 2mb?

  Looks like you can squeeze a pic down by dragging on a corner of it.

  Well I guess that didn’t work right.  Another way I have done it is. I sent a picture as a text and then had them send it back to me, when I got I got the picture back the picture was reduced to less than 2 mb. I then made a screen shot of the picture and used that picture.  I’m sure someone here with computer savvy can show you the proper way to do it.
