    saw it on the show Future Weapons, they even sell a fake cat to put on top of it to distract the target. Kinda goofy and cool at the same time.

    Protected firing from a trench would also be a good application.
    As a kid I recall seeing a M3 greasegun with a 90 degree barrel on Movietone News but never heard of any issued.

    one would hope that the troops in iraq who have to patrol in built up areas would be issued with these...i can see it could save a lot of lives.
