Customer Service...
in America sucks. I called AT&T to get help with my voice mail for my home office phone. Guy tells me that he will fix it and call back in 20 minutes. two and a half hours goes by, no voice mail and no call back. so I call again, some other guy gets it fixed for me. I ask the other guy if the first guy is going to get fired for not fixing the problem and not calling back. He laughs and says "no, why would he?"
This seems to be the new way of doing business in America these days.

It took about 20 minutes and several "push 1 for English" to get to a real person. [:(!]0 -
Went to the store today and bought a pound of salmon. When I got to the register I noticed the tag said 1.12 pounds for $1.50 more. They never asked if a little over was ok, so I asked the cashier to send it back to the seafood dept. The cashier looked at me like I was nuts. 0 -

Way back when I worked in a deli, I considered it ok to be over by up to 10%. 12% and I'd have asked if it was ok.
Today I walk into the grocery and the folks at the deli cheerfully hand me stuff that is over by 20 to 30%.0 -
