Why is it
Why is it that when you need something you can't get it but when you don't need it you can get all you want?
I am in serious need of plain ol cheap fill dirt (aprox 3 yards) right now for an area of my leech line on my septic tank that has washed out. Normally I can find free dirt all day long and people normally will be more than happy to even deliver it for free. But now that I need it the only thing I can find is one guy who wants $60 per pickup load for crappy dirt that is almost 50% gravel from an old road project that he did.

It seems that a lot of people complain about gov't handout and the type of people who take them
Let me tell you about one
, he's 62years old has worked fulltime since he was 14 years old on his own at 15, paid taxes for 41 years never cheated, never asked for any thing and gddm never got anything. except hurt on the job at 56years old crushed the vertibrae in his back, wants to work, but cant still he tries a couple of times a year never works out. at 56 years old he was making 90,000 a year now he gets 1200 a month. still has bills not like he did but lives within his means and lives quietly on a goverment handout? I dont call it a hand out I call it money earned by the sweat of his brow and the strength of his back now he lives listening to how hes a scum bag for taking a disability check. you can probably tell that that man is me.0 -

I reallly feel for you and your situation, and i'm sorry that happened to you at such a young age.
I kinda know what your feeling, I have a situation lately in my life that has me ticked off as well.
I'm 48 years old and have never collected unemployment until recently when I was laid off of my carpenter job. I collected for 6 months, and after the 6 months, my ex employer contested my unemployment and we had a hearing because I appealed. # days later i got a letter in the mail that my benefits were denied. Not only were they denied, but I have to pay back all the money that I collected for those 6 months!
It's bad enough being out of work, now I owe over $9,000 to the I.D.E.S.!
There's people that are collecting money all their lives for doing nothing, and me who has worked since I was 15, get a kick in the ass!
It really sucks, I guess i'm just the wrong color!!!!!!!!!!0 -

If you made $90.000 a year for any lenth of time you would be drawing a hell of a lot more than $1.200 a month. I.m on SS and get over $1.800 a month.0 -

My father passed 30 yrs ago and back then he would say: " What is the world comming to" I often wonder if he can see what has transpired, I truly hope not. We have trashed the home we all live in, and the now generation doesent give a dam, glad Im as old as I am, like I have a choice. 0 -
their is nothing wrong w/ gov. help programs as long the money is given to peolpe who need and earned it, the problem is that doesn't always happen my grandfather is a korean war vet he's worked since he 13 years old now he's in his late 70's and the money he gets from the goverment is a joke. he has nothing after spending most of his saving on my grandmothers cancer treatments. and it makes me sick to see drug dealers, drug addicts, illeagal imorgrants, and just all around scum bags suck from the gov. golden tit, they get free money,free health care,and free education.thier are people in this country who need help families who are homeless,vets who are homeless and get nothing and must be a slap in the face when they are denied help because all the money is gone spent on scum bags. 0
