I read the short story, and have an awesome audio production of it. I want to see the movie, but I've heard from a friend the ending isn't quite like the book.

I know a guy who did, and liked it because the ending was not King's. Since King can develop characters but not resolve plots, they had do give the story another ending. Who reads King any more?

I have "Lizzie's Story" and a couple of audio books downloaded. The Bogeyman one still scares me.

I watched it. It was OK until the ending. My friend (actually, my ex-fianc?e who was visiting for Thanksgiving) and I looked at each other and both said at the same time 'Well, who didn't see that coming?' [xx(] We found it rather clich?d, and I found myself channeling M. Knight Shamalamadingdong on an episode of Robot Chicken: 'My god! What a twist!'

Another clich? was The Guy You'd Never Expect turning out to be the crack shot. And the Religious Nutcase? Been done. (Carrie, anyone?)

Aside from the stupid ending, it was an OK -- but somewhat pedestrian -- film.

(But hey, it sold. The last film I worked on didn't get finished!)
