Really starting to get the itch

to buy a gun. It's been over a year now since the last one. [V] I'm trying to hold off, because I'm cheap and I don't really need it, but it is almost unbearable. The CZ 550 American in 6.5x55 is starting to call my name, not screaming it....yet. I was just looking at it again making the problem worse. [B)] I don't know how much longer I can hold out!! Maybe the itch will pass in a week or two[;)][;)]

    Just scratch it and don't forget to buy plenty of ammo.

    I don't have the shakes or sweats yet so there is still a small shread of hope.
    The only "recovery" is when the new toy is in your hands!

    No, you're mistaken, the itch is terminal unless you scratch it. I'm not only fairly cheap, I'm also (genuinely) fairly poor. However, in your shoes I would already be planning how to cope with the sense of "I shouldn't have done that" that I would feel -- briefly -- as I was playing with my new toy.

    On one hand -- I'm not divorced because of the above tendency -- but being divorced certainly makes it easier to scratch whatever itches. My dogs are the only creatures I have to consider when making my decisions, and, being scratchers of itches from way back, they have no problem with me doing what I must do.
