Just got back from the jewelry store.....*Update*

Rack Ops
Well, I've purchased "The Ring" (no, not the movie [:)])

All that's left is giving it to her. I think I'll wait till Monday.

    Check out the one that she gives you - see if there's a pin that can be driven through the center of the ring from one point to the opposite point and welded on that other side. My wife gave me one of those and after the bone grew around the pin and it all healed up it was really all that bad - it just don't come off!

    Here I thought it was a "rooster" ring[:D]. Good luck and perhaps you'll beat the 50/50 odds on it lasting. Also Prenup is a good thing[;)].

    Rack Ops, congratulations!

    My marital advice to anyone: be willing to bite your tongue sometimes. It took me a few years to figure that one out. Sometimes there is not right or wrong... there are just different perspectives. Once I figured that one out, married life became a lot less stressfull. Looking back over my married life, I am a better person for having married my wife. We compliment each other very well.

    I wish you and the soon-to-be Mrs. a long, happy, and prosperous marriage.[;)]

    One of my younger co-workers announced that he was about to be married. I asked him, "Do you REALLY like this girl?"

    He said, "Yes."

    I said, "Well, however much you like this one, you'll like the next one better."

    His answer to that is not something I can print here, but you know what? He did like the next one better.
