Check it out. I wouldn't give that much a round for anything short of a cannon.

there 260-300 depending how many grains you want. this is from Cabela's

edit, just did the math its 13 per shell to 15 per shell through them. sounds like hes trying to recoup the cost plus some, maybe he paid that much after i know prices vary from area to area

I see that you have not shopped for ammo for a 600 Nitro Express, Gyrojet pistol, or Dardick revolver lately! $18 a round is CHEEP for some ammo out there! (Yeah, I am one of the idiots that paid $50 for a reproduction Crispin cartridge- and was glad to get it!

Call me tight, but if it costs more than $5 a shot, it's entirely too rich for my blood.

I have no idea when I will EVER hunt an elephant, but if I do, I will take a 50 BMG, thanks.
