For me its the ticking sound the ceiling fans make, or the clock we inherited.whats your most annoying sound?

  Definitely the most annoying sound would be when the cats are not getting along and they are having one of their little stand offs to determine who is boss.[:D]

  The drier with an unbalanced load. The spot in the hallway that squeeks whenever I walk over it.

  A toss-up between the telephone ringing and the slurping/gnawing sound my one dog makes while his head's buried between his hind legs. Thankfully the cold weather is easing his allergy issues, and by the spring I should be able to afford a trip to the vet.

  I get home sometimes in the early hours of the morning and am the only one awake. So the most annoying sound to me is definitely are wallclock. I never realized how loud that little thing was until I sat down one day with no other noises in the house. It's enough to drive a person mad!

  I have a male cardinal doing his territoriality thing, several times a day for a half an hour at a shot will try to attack himself in the dining room window.

  That must be the sound that the TV makes, when it's just turned on.
  
  A very highpitched tone, not too strong - but notiseable and very annoying.
  The tone lasts until the TV have been running for a couple of minutes.

  My bed. Everytime you roll over on it it squeaks like crazy. My wife can't stand it either. But we can't get rid of it because It was my wifes grandmothers, and it is really comfortable.

  the most annoying sound is the sound of money being spent or wasted. Like the sound of a spring breaking on the garage door, or the sound of the refrigarator door being left open, or the sound aof a radio being left on in a room were nobody has entered in 3 or 4 hours.
