    I don't have a favorite. I always take something different. .243, .30/30, .308, .30/06, or anything else I might want to. [:D]

    I have killed over 50 deer with the 30-06. No kidding, in Georgia it is no big deal to kill ten in a season.
    But, I have seen the way, the truth, and the light when I killed deer with the Savage muzzleloader. Now, the beautiful 30-06 Mauser stays in the closet.
