It is legal here in Virginia. There is no state law against it, other than for VCU down in Richmond. And even that is just a trespass violation, they have to tell you to leave first and if you don't they can charge you with trespassing. Not being allowed to carry at Virginia Tech is just a school passed policy for the students, not a law.
And here in VA, if you have a CCW permit, you can carry while picking up your child at K-12 schools. You just have to stay in the car and keep the firearm concealed.0 -

Its legal in most if not all states...its the schools themselves that do not allow it...hell, Columbine happened on my 13th birthday...VA Tech happened 4 days before my 21st...you better believe I bought myself a .40 caliber gift that weekend... 0
