    It is legal here in Virginia. There is no state law against it, other than for VCU down in Richmond. And even that is just a trespass violation, they have to tell you to leave first and if you don't they can charge you with trespassing. Not being allowed to carry at Virginia Tech is just a school passed policy for the students, not a law.

    And here in VA, if you have a CCW permit, you can carry while picking up your child at K-12 schools. You just have to stay in the car and keep the firearm concealed.

    Its legal in most if not all states...its the schools themselves that do not allow it...hell, Columbine happened on my 13th birthday...VA Tech happened 4 days before my 21st...you better believe I bought myself a .40 caliber gift that weekend...
