Thats a real fire. I went to a model airplane show with a friend a year or so ago. Its amazing the things people have made. I didn't see anything like that, but there were several fighter jets that were probably about 5 feet long in total length. They would burn up quick with their jet fuel.0 -

It's an awesome hobby but you have to have the bucks and the strength to watch 5 to 10 grand worth of your property crash and burn in a split second. The ducted fan jets are amazing but are big bucks and harder to fly because they get out of sight so fast.
I like the WWII warbirds. The prop planes are a little easier to fly and a little less expensive but you're still talking a few grand before it's all said and done.
There's an event called Top Gun that they hold every year. The best of the best from all over the world come to fly in it. Would love to go to that some day. I believe it's held in Florida somewhere.0 -

I've seen a couple jet RC planes. They are amazing and beautiful pieces of work but I'd be too scared I'd crash and burn to ever fly one! 0
