I'd see if I couldn't get it for 20 or 25 bucks a month. Insurance is one of those things where you can debate the price. Although very few do.

For 20 or 25/month, sounds like a decent deal. Depends on what they would consider for replacement and the like.

i have a home waranty. it cost me $40.00 for a new washer and dryer, and $45.00 for a new central air unit. you have to call the waranty company, and they send someone out to either fix or replace appliances. i've not had any problems. it covers all apliances, wireing, and plumbing.

When I purchased my home 3 years ago, the seller included a home warranty, which was good for one year after that year was up I decided to purchase the home warranty again. It was 295.00 for one year and a 50.00 deductible. That year I replaced my hot water tank, oven range hood, garbage disposal, and two ceiling fans. I got my moneys worth out of it. With my agreement I couldn't perform any of the work myself so each time some appliance either died or was "killed" like the hot water tank a plumber comes check out everything, or an electrician, etc. So everything covered is professionally installed or repaired.
