my oldest daughter got into a fight

my oldest works at a pet shop and got into a fight with a seven foot python i think the snake won she was feeding it when it lunged for her and clamp down took 4 people to pry it looseS5001052.jpg

    i could work in a pet shop. i carry a knife and would have cut the thing off before anyone could get to me

    The only way to teach that python a lesson on who the boss is, is have some boots made.

    Hope she isn't traumatized by it..boots ,shoes, purse, belt,hat band, did I leave out anything..watch out for infection if it broke the skin..nasty mouths on a snake..she looks pi.. off..lol..Loko

    thank you all she will be okay but she got very lucky the snake wieghed almost as much as she does the only good snake is a dead one

    Wow....what did the owner of the store have to say? Is he/she giving her some time off (with pay?) They should give her some type of "prize" for that type of run-in with the merchandise.

    Many boids (pythons) have very long teeth in order to keep a grip on birds they prey on. A bite from a larger animal could get nasty.

    Good thing there were people there...was watching a deal last night where they measured the 'squeeze' on a 10 foot reticulated python, and it was 80 pounds per sure inch! that's the equivalent of a busparked driectly on your chest. 16in x 20in x 80 lbs/per sq in. do the math....

    Glad to hear she's OK.

    Trouble dogs (i.e. pitbull mauling/attack) are euthanized, what do they do with pythons.

    Its a shame, but play with a wild animal and your gonna get bit. Moral of the story, dont play with wild animals..Sorry she got hurt. Tame animals will bite you if provoked,, wild animals need no provocation.
