interesting phone call

cowdoc
got phone call from one of the bigger farmers in the county....told me about some land that is up for rent and he told me he has enough....couple thousand more acres sure wouldn't hurt i guess[:D]

    I don't think some of you farmers can appreciate how much of a "dream come true" it would be for some folks to own a thousand acres...to hell with a house, I'll just take the land...and go from there.[^]

    Dheff, naw ther are guys here who farm way more than i do and they are not in a pine box[:D] there are some 20-40,000+ acre farmers up here in the dakotas they can plant 160 acres in couple hrs one out fit i know has 3 60ft air seeders....they can plant a section of land pretty short order.

    I was out that way many years ago and was amazed at how huge the fields are.Around these parts its 10 acres fields and wood lots.

    Hell, I'll take a hundred acres and be happy with that[:)]
