    I think you are being a little optimistic....Winchester 30-30's are not going for that much anymore, they were real high for a while but the Winchester hysteria has tapered off.

    You must know something I don't. The forearm isn't cracked and I haven't seen many saddle ring 94's for less. If it hadn't been reblued, it would be twice that amount. It has a tight action and the wood is very nice, unsanded and NOT cracked.

    I apologize in that case. The last pic shows what sure looks like a crack to me up the right side.

    No crack - just a surface scratch no deeper than the picture shows.
