    I Have the flu, and ear infection and 101 fever. Been sick for nine days now and can't shake it. I go to the doctors tomorrow for my ear. It is bleeding and discharging fluid. I have not been this sick ever.[xx(]

    Springfield Police say the boy was murdered by his mother then tossed in the trash two months ago.



    Saturday was day one of the search, and just to give you an idea of how much bigger the challenge is than they thought, the area they're searching has 4,000 dump loads of garbage.



    Saturday morning, they got throught just one dump load with 15 crew members searching.



    Police say volunteers have called in to help, but landfill administration won't allow cameras or even volunteers on scene because of the conditions.



    Aside from working in pouring rain, Springfield Police Sergeant David Lewis says another problem is that all the garbage is one color. Plus it's all compacted and very tight, making it very difficult to pull apart.



    Police and Lane County Search and Rescue are looking for a beige colored bed sheet amid all the debris, which is what police say Angelica Swartout wrapped her son in before discarding his body.



    If police don't find him in the area they're in now, Sgt. Lewis says the next step is even more discouraging.



    "Once they get the area dug out we're looking through now and start going through further, it becomes more unmanageble as far as, you'll never get a truck out there and the only thing out there is track vehicles so it's going to be difficult to get any machinery in and out," Sgt. Lewis said.



    To make their job a little bit easier, the county built a landing with lots of gravel.



    Crews will spend the next two days out there. Lewis says if they don't find the body, they'll reassess their plan and at some point, look at the feasibility of even finishing the search.



    Swartout currently sits in jail facing murder charges.



    Lewis says if they don't find the baby, they'll still have ample evidence to "prove what happened, happened."

    I am sick of my fellow citizens STUPIDITY on the Constitution.not ignorance.no. Stupid is where intelligent people give you the facts..show you where to look them up.and it makes NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL.

    I am sick of the unending crap thrown at people trying desperately to salvage what precious few freedoms are left here in America.

    I am SICK UNTO DEATH with politicians proclaiming themselves to be "security first"..while HORDES of barbarians swarm across our borders.
    I am sick of watching on the news as cowards ke their shoes off at Airports and bend over for the rubber gloves and carry no shaving cream because empty suits ORDERED them to.and listening to the reports of BARBARIANS working with bogus papers ON THE PLANES.and bombs are carried aboard by testors.

    I am sick of people CHEERING CCWs' as `regaining rights'..when any fool realizes that turning a Right into a privilege is a turning point..and perhaps the total loss of the Second Amendment.
    I am sick of treating people that use the Constitution as toilet paper with `respect'.GARBAGE is what they are..and always WILL be.
    I am sick of people telling me that if I don't support the policies of those in power..I am supporting `terrorism'..or whatever other bogyman is presently being touted for the power-mad to grab off even MORE power.
    I am sick of listening as some clergy somewhere pays off a million or so dollars to the victims of sexual abuse by perverted priests..then moved somewhere else to continue their perversions.

    Thank God my mortal coil is about over. 50 years of watching the greatest country on Earth descend into darkness.

    Perhaps here is a glimmer of hope. Check out the link above for a "grassroots" movement that seems to be gathering some steam...at least, we can hope.

    Well said. My hope is after they turn us(a) into a third world craphole maybe then the other they will go home. My Dad got to go from horses to moon landings (1915 - 2004). He could not belive BJ Bill skated and his better half was elected Senator. They are criminals thus DC district of criminals. Liesure Suit Larry Craig from my state doesn't even have the decency to resign after he said he would. We are going to hell in a hand basket and its rocket powered. The best line I have seen lately is the next currency will be shotgun shells. I like #4 buck but I can make lyman sabot slugs and OO.
