Living Trust for NFA items???

I'm in the "learning process" to set up a living trust in order to buy NFA firearms and suppressors.

Attorneys charge $400-$500 (Florida) to set one up.

My FFL dealer just became a Class III dealer. He said he'd do it for $300.

Legal zoom.com charges $220. Office supply stores sell the package for $30 or so.

So, my question is: Has anyone here done this, specifically for NFA items?
Any advice is appreciated. I'm trying to "do-it-myself" to save some $$$$ and not pay for some legal-beagle's Porsche.

    Dolfan: givette here. Link below is a little wordy, but lots of good info on Class III and the trust system. After you read through, you should be able to set one up yourself. Best, Joe

    It convinced me to go the trust route, even if not for classIII, but for all my worldly posessions. Joe

    Check your state tax laws. Maryland just enacted a new tax law where all corporations (LLCs, INCs, etc) were REQUIRED to do an annual filing that cost $350 where before this law, if your LLC did no business, it cost nothing and no filing was required.
