    Hated the hair bands.
I was raised on 70's bands, so I stuck with them.
I do like Elvis Costello and Squeeze.

    UUUGGGHHHH!
I hate when I DO that! Post under his name.....

It's okay though, I told Rcrxs, and his response was, "There was no music in the eightees."

I can't believe no one has mentioned Molly Hatchet.

Or Robert Plant (post Zeppelin), or Boston, or Clapton.

Out of all the bands mentioned, I've only hear of ZZ top(which I happen to like), Cars, and Reo.
A few others sound familar, but never have hear their songs.

Amazingly enough...I doubt that anyone mentioned thus far made more klinkies than this 35yr old woman acting as though she were 14. Here with a local boy on Guitar "Rick Derringer"

The '80's brought us Stevie Ray Vaughn.

    I also liked Robert Palmer.

Check out any of the album cuts from Was Not Was.

There was also a lot of good Talking Heads in the 80's.
