    by the way its just a rumor that cowboys only listen to country[:D] we like to rock it......haven't listen to country for many many years.....all the real country singers are dead.

    Out of all the bands mentioned, I've only hear of ZZ top(which I happen to like), Cars, and Reo.
    A few others sound familar, but never have hear their songs.

    I also liked Robert Palmer.

    Check out any of the album cuts from Was Not Was.

    There was also a lot of good Talking Heads in the 80's.
