How did everyone find gunbroker

For me it was from a friend who was showing me auctions. I just kinda stumbled into the forums.

    Just looking for gun auctions on the net. I first used the forums for reference, (Ask the experts), Now I just goof around here.

    GUNS back a few months after GB began in 99, vs zombies, how many bazookas should I carry for backup if my 100 round AK mag is not enough, and "you better change your ways cause you sitten in da lap of da devil"...and the snide obnoxous comments from those that are are pathetiacly insecure and feel the need to to make a smart azz comment about a perfectly fine, benign post; and then those that suck up to that person as if to say " he's a genius and since I agree with him I am too".

    ...ahh, the smoking jacket club and all the fine gentlemen that contributed quality comments back then...[^]

    I was invited by?? when ebay stopped the gun sales. The email allowed me to use the same user name and password that i had ebay. Just dont remember who sent the email.

    I got that one also (I got one fron the "other place" also[;)]), IIRC, GB announced before they actually went online but I don't remember using the same password info, I would have been pissed about e-bay giving that out.

    I saw a guy walking around with a cool GB.com hat. I stopped him and asked what it was. THat stranger introduced me to this great place. Sure wish I knew his name. I'd like to thank that strange hatted man.

    Had been gooing to pdo and saw it mentioned there, so I checked it out. Came here frequently, but finally gave up entirely on pdo and just stayed here. Good site.

    found it while doing a google search about my winchester model 1894... it took me to the ask the experts section.

    so i found the forums first, and now i lurk there and the auction section.

    I googled up "duck hunting" and after scrolling through most sites that I already knew, saw "forthehunt.com" which took me to the auction site, then to the forums.

    forthehunt.com still works after all these years. I remember the old forum would crash every week or so.

    I was looking for a specific gun a long time ago and found Gunbroker. If you look at my feedback on the Auction side (Mikkel52)you can see that I have been around for a while. I used to lurk on the forum when you used to have to have a 10 positive feedbacks on the auction side to even post on it. I hadn't visited the forum in a couple of years, then I was looking for an Encore barrel and clicked the link to get to the Want Ads. Posted there and then saw the Bowhunting forum. Posted there for a little while and then got sucked into this cesspool.[:D]

    one night while in an alcoholic stupor, I did a search for "a good hooker' but mistyped gunbroker. Still haven't found a way to get back out....[:D]
