My parents would not have put up with any of the stuff that kid was doing. In fact My wife and I would not either.

they should have a male figure on supernanny. and turn off the cameras for thirty seconds. that would be all the time in the world to teach respect to that kid[}:)] but look at the way the punish him[V] i dont know what they are saying but i can guess. "no we dont do that to mommy and daddy, thats bad" "sit still, be good"

My mother would have made me go cut a switch. If it wasn't big enough, cut another one. Then it would have been worn out on my butt and legs. My father would have to buy a new belt, 'cause his old one would have been worn out on my a$$. After a couple of those, I became a pretty good kid.[:D]

I see my nephew and his wife giving their kids "time out". Kid goes to the corner for a few minutes. A while later, does the same thing.

The kid looks autistic. I have a 6 yr old nephew that is autistic, he hits. If you spank him it just makes it worse, he doesnt get it. I wonder how many adult nut jobs today, are undiagnosed autism?

Germans (in video)in modern Germany are much more liberal than we.
If any kid of my generation struck an adult he/she would have been flattened.

The kid might very well be autistic. But still its just an excuse. I have a nephew that is autistic and you have to treat him the same way every time he tries to break the rules. Your right spanking does not work. But standing your ground and simply not giving in to temper tantrums and yelling and carrying on like the video does not work either. Set the rules (plain simple and clearly) and stick to them. No matter what.

IM with mild autistic, my nephiew was like that, after along time he was diagonsed with asburgers diseas, wich I guess Is basicly mild autism. after several years of patience and understanding of the disease he is 1000x better, and able to control it, and has a disgustingly hi IQ
One of the things I think they were told to do with him when he would go in to tantrums like that was to smother him, just bear hug him and wrap your arms and legs around him, and hold him until his fit would pass.
He is 13 now, and is aware of what is going on and basicly puts himself on timeout, when he feels this fit comming on.
