    all things considered i believe the indians did a lot better job if you discount chemical & biological warfare from the scorecard

    It's cute but not a smidgen/iota of truth. It wasn't about terrorism like the situation we have today. It was about a technologicly superior culture (architecture,mathematics, sciences, industrialization, weaponry albeit morally compropmised, vs. tents made of skin/caves/dirt huts and spears/bows/arrows) with a great need to expand (famine, persecution, population in Europe). It was just a matter of time. The horse (from Europeans) and the firearm (from Europeans who got it from Asians) brought the American Indian out of the stoneage. There was alot of brutality on both sides and alot of revisionism going on about how Indians treated each other before Europeans came. It wasn't the utopia some would like you to believe that was ruined by the arrival of Europeans.

    I agree with you 100 percent. You described the term "Manifest Destiny" (the term used to describe our reason for expansion across the entire U.S.) quite well with your depiction of what eventually evolved from the "Indian Wars". However, I was really trying to stress the small red print under the picture. That is what I found thought- provoking!
