    Yea, I wonder why the Mexicans officials don't make any attempt to stop this gun traffic. Maybe the truth is that fully auto weapons have been coming into the US from Mexico and other south American countries for years with the drugs.

    I suspect this BS is Mexico's attempt to point the finger back at us since we are raising hell about all the illegals coming into the US through there unguarded border. They will try to blame us for the gun battles that are surely to erupt soon along the border.

    As long as they kill each other in their own country won't make me lose any sleep at night.

    What they're whining about isn't actually the problem, only an expected symptom.

    All of this stems from the fact that they have a highly corrupt government which long ago climbed into bed with large scale drug dealers. They're now an entrenched part of it's society.

    When the Mexican gov't makes attempts at keeping them in check they respond with violence. Imagine that.

    Wow, that's funny, I havent seen any unregistered private sale machine guns, grenades and grenade launchers at gun shows here.

    Methinks this piece of crap, masquerading as journalism, belongs on the bottom of a birdcage.

    This story sounds like a Brady Campaign advertisement pushed on "we the people" by an unscrupulous media, bent on passing more gun control laws.
    A short example of the buzzwords;
    "The weapons are often bought legally at gun shows in Arizona and other border states where loopholes allow criminals to stock up without background checks."
    And again, with the tried-and-true Dimocrap talking points;
    "The arms traffickers have left Mexico awash in AK-47s, pistols, telescope sighting devices, grenades, grenade launchers and high-powered ammunition, such as the so-called cop-killer bullets believed to be able to penetrate bulletproof vests."
    Yet another example of Dimocrap mindset;
    "The increase has been stoked by the cartel war and by the ease of buying high-powered weapons since the U.S. assault weapons ban was not renewed in 2004"
    PURE FANTASY;
    "Among the new weapons of choice for Mexican drug dealers are so-called variants of AK-47s and AR-15 assault rifles, which are shorter than standard models and can even be concealed in baggy pant legs, Newell said."
    I'd like to see someone walking around with an AK or AR in their pants leg!

    Last I checked they don't make AK 47's in the United States!!! Considering that they are sold by the makers to anyone that can come up with the money and are a predominant weapon in many 3rd world countries being sure that they came from the US may be a big leap. The Cartels could easily be buying them from Cuba or directly from the manufacturer.
