How come? I just reposted cartoons I found, on both sides of the issues. I'm not saying I necessarily agree with all of them. Did I break forum rules?[?]0 -
I'm sorry I thought this was a PRO gun site my mistake. 0 -

For the most part it is, but unlike the democrat underground and most of the anti-gun sites, GunBroker pretty much lets them have their say until they violate the rules or common decency. Usually it's just a matter of time until they go off the deep end. I think callktulu might be a civilized human being, so he might be around for a while. I can't say I agree with his reading material.0 -
callktulu- Is there some purpose... other than to piss people off and cause trouble... for posting so many anti-gun editorial cartoons? I can understand a couple to show how the other side thinks, but you have now crossed over into the area where you appear to be working for the Brady Campaign. Either that or you are now trying to start a fight.
We get the idea, OK? Enough, already.0 -
I hate the majority of those cartoons I posted. But don't you think it's wise to educate ourselves on what and how we're viewed by "the other side?" Some of those cartoons are so blatantly ignorant and misinformed, it makes me want to take a gun to my computer screen.
All the more reason we need to continue to fight for our 2nd Amendment rights. Surrounding yourself with only your own views ("I thought this was a PRO gun site") leads to complacency and ignorance.0 -

Most of us are already very aware of "how we're viewed by `the other side'". Just watch your local news. Nobody gets shot with a 9mm. The are shot by a 9mm.
The "know your enemy" thing is one of the most misunderstood quotes I have ever heard. It doesn't mean study him to death until you become him. It means know who he is, where he lives, how he thinks, so you can reasonably predict what he will do next so you can counter it.0 -
I think the point was made with first half dozen. The 23 (29 total, I counted) that followed were overkill and only served to irritate. 0 -
You want some cheese to go with that whine?
The anti-gun cartoons are just fine. Why do you choose to stand behind the 2nd amendment, but not the 1st?
I like to see how the other side see's us.
Got Guns?0 -
Nobody is whining about anything and to suggest that anyone is doing so is insulting.
There is no First Amendment on the forum and even when it applies just because you CAN do something doesn't nece4ssarily mean that you SHOULD do it. A child ought to be able to see the difference.
We have to ask WHY he wanted to post so many anti-gun editorial cartoons knowing they would largely NOT be appreciated. Had he posted... oh say no more than 12... nobody would have said anything. But he posted 29 of them. Why so many? What was the point? What was his desired goal?
Some people, it seems, have to be contrary just to draw attention.0 -
What was his goal? Simple. So I could read them all. They were cartoons, right?
Got Guns?0 -
THIS IS a PRO-GUN site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These "Kartoons" simply show the dumb-A--es we're up against!!
Lock and Load dude!

Your comment in red, especially in response to come critical comments made towards you, makes me think you are truly a stealth, anti-gun troll. Or at the very least a gun owner that has an attitude that I don't want associated with me.
If you, or any anti-gun trolls decide to come here on GB.com and lecture us lawful, peaceful and responsible gun owners, I would ask you why you don't go out and face to face deliver the same sermon to the actual gangbangers, violent criminals, robbers, driveby shooters, etc. who are actually the ones committing gun crimes. The gun crimes are not committed by the lawful gun owners you will find here on GB.com. For one simple reason, if for no other, if any of us commit a serious crime we lose our legal right to own guns.
So if you want to make some gun owners looks bad or dangerous, direct your efforts at those violent lawbreakers who are causing the problems.0 -

Who but a rabid anti-gun person (anti-gun regarding lawful citizens, not regarding the police, military or apparently violent criminals) would even spend so much time collecting and posting so many anti-gun cartoons? I have long claimed that there are stealth anti-gun people lurking and posting here on GB.com and I am wondering if this person is one that is not so stealthy.0 -

I apologize for posting so many. I got out of control posting anything I could find. Unfortunately the vast majority out there are anti-gun. I wish there were more of the good ones.
I didn't realize I was upsetting people. Again, I apologize.0 -
Whoa... they are cartoons... where is everyones humor ? I must have snapped.. [:D][:D] 0 -

If anyone believes this, I got a bridge I will sell you.0 -

No responsible gun owner I have ever known claimed that the right to keep and bear arms applied to the cold-blooded killers depicted in your cartoon. Why do you seem to want to publish a cartoon that implies otherwise?0 -

Oh sure, come in and post a lot of lying extreme anti-gun cartoons and then after you have got in you licks now you "apologize" and "didn't realize you were" wrong in doing so. I don't believe you.0 -
Not my cartoon, it's one I found on the internet. And I do not agree with that particular one whatsoever. I think it's a horrible representation of gun owners.
I'm not going to apologize again or justify myself again. It's obvious people will hold their opinions regardless.0 -
Let's just move on, everyone. Not worth arguing over. 0 -
So, lock it then, dammit! 0 -
Trolling, trolling, trolling [:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!]

i think some of them anti gun cartoons would have been less aggitating had mr CallkTulu put some captions in there to show that these are not the views that he holds . . .cause that is what i began to think after the first dozen. just my few pennies 0 -
well we have had our fair share of anti gun pics so how bout the other side.

I think this one is my favorite. Reminds me of the quote by some Chinese (or was it Japanese) general who said something about not wanting to ever invade the U.S. because there is a rifle behind every blade of grass. (Sorry, can't remember the quote exactly.)
Wish I had a rifle for every blade of grass in my yard! Guess I'll just have to settle for a round for every blade. [;)] Working on it.....[8D]0 -
