wierd building in iraq
can anyone ID this building i found while cruising the global incident map website

here is the same building but i moved the map to include a near by street so you could get a scale on how large this building is,
i google imaged masques in iraq and then just blue spheres in iraq and cant find anything
its MASSIVE!0 -

I think it's one of the huge old "Government" buildings.
I remember seeing when all of this started, the networks shooting right outside of a big circular building, which was beside a fairly busy street.
It had some kind of wierd circular stuff on top.
I don't really know though,......simply came to mind!0 -

I have to wonder of it is a new building due to the color of the concrete paving in the parking lots. Looks like fresh concrete to me.

I hear that. At work someone had a bottle of tea. Up by the cap, the wrapper said "Before opening insect for breakage" Everyone one of us sitting at the table thought of inspecting the bottle for broken glass. Not one of us thought about the protective seal around the bottle and cap.

It's a shame the way goberments spend money. Think of all the money Valenzuela is profiting from oil and it is being wasted. I've always said "No one builds a building like the government."
I heard John Edwards talk about the greed of corporations this morning. It is nothing compared to the greed of politicians and governments. The more I think of it, I find Edwards words to be truly offensive. I think of the crap hole offices at work and compare them to the comforts of even the county jail.
Profit margins are small but tax bases are huge.0 -

well I'm IN Baghdad right now. At first it looked like the Tomb of the Unknown soldier. If you do a google map search and go to satellite imagery, you can see the tomb close to the center of the city. It's a huge round building too.
That's not the new embassy though. Its being built now and it's HUGE.0 -
