NEW MEXICO COPS

A Truth or Consequences New Mexico policeman had a perfect spot to watch for speeders, but wasn't getting many. Then he discovered the problem - a 12-year-old boy was standing up the road with a hand painted sign, which read "RADAR TRAP AHEAD". The officer then found a young accomplice down the road with a sign reading "TIPS" and a bucket full of money.
(And we used to just sell lemonade!)

A young woman was pulled over for speeding. As a New Mexico State Police Officer walked to her car window, flipping open his ticket book, she said, "I bet you are going to sell me a ticket to the State Policeman's Ball." He replied, "New Mexico State Police don't have balls." There was a moment of silence while she smiled, and he realized what he'd just said. He then closed his book, got back in his patrol car and left. She was laughing too hard to start her car.

    I used to get the troopers at the NM Port of Entry laffing all the time!

    I would haul loads that required Flamable & Corosive Placards on my truck. When I would cross the POE they allways asked what I was hauling!

    They could never help themselves from laffing when I told them Cocacola (Syrup)!

    When I was in college (long time ago), I frequently made the drive from Las Cruces to Roswell --- through the mountains on the old crooked highway that we had back then. At or around Tinnie was a nice Highway patrolman. His name was Odell. He and I were on first name basis. The JP there saw me often. Was one of the many "traps" that used to be common in my "old" home state.

    I do not hate New Mexico. That being said, I moved to Wyoming from New Mexico any way. I guess i did not like New Mexico or New Mexico did not like me. [8D]

    It is that I like Wyoming better. I immigrated from Texas. It is a whole other country,I agree but no immigration status is required today, it is now one of the 50 states and not its own country. [8D]

    New Mexico has some beautiful spots if you don't mind drunk Indians and women with hairy legs and arm pits.

    And then of course there is He Dog or Hedgehog.

    We are getting out our guns for Mateo, we have heard lawyers make good satisfying targets.

    The one from T or C is pure fantasy; there's no speed traps in T or C because everybody does 35mph anyway!
    As for those who dislike new Mexico; tell your friends! there's nothing but gangs, scorpions, deserts, drunks and New Yorkers here!
    No room to roam, no horizon-filling vistas, high taxes, too many mojados, bad drivers and unemployed brick layers!
    Better yet, send your money and stay home!
